Saatchi Saatchi is in it’s 4th year of sponsorship of the RunShoot Filmworks Martha’s Vineyard African American Film Festival.

The Saatchi Saatchi NOTHING IS IMPOSSIBLE Producer’s Award is exclusively for films accepted into the 10th Annual Martha’s Vineyard African American Film Festival, which runs from August 7-11, 2012.

If you would like your film to be considered for this award you must include with your submission, the BIOGRAPHY of the film, which is:

- A narrative of the genesis of the project, the time from its conception to completion and any significant landmarks or pitfalls along the way.

- A narrative of the producer’s production strategy (i.e. initial budget, final budget, timeline, etc.).

Films of all genres are eligible and there’s no running time limit.

The Saatchi Saatchi jury determines the finalists. There are typically 7 finalists in the Saatchi competition and 1 winner announced at the festival.

The past 3 winners, from the years 2009-2011 (in that chronological order), were Return To Mexico City 2009 by Joie Walls (Documentary), The Roe Effect by Kiel Adrian Scott (Short Film) and Infiltrating Hollywood: The Rise and Fall of the Spook Who Sat By The Door by Christine Acham Clifford Ward (Documentary).

Visit http://www.mvaaff.com to submit your film into the festival and then it is considered not only for the Saatchi Saatchi NOTHING IS IMPOSSIBLE Producer’s Award, but also for the HBO Best Short, Best Doc and Best Feature competition.

Additionally, all finalists are invited to screen their films at Saatchi Saatchi’s New York office.

Saatchi’s goal is to introduce Saatchi Saatchi senior executives and creative directors to the film festival and most importantly to the participating filmmakers. As an evolution between the partnership of Saatchi and MVAAFF, Saatchi Saatchi in 2011 designated past NOTHING IS IMPOSSIBLE film finalist Bree Newsome (Wake) as Saatchi Saatchi’s first ever Artist in Residence.

Bree Newsome is currently at Saatchi Saatchi NY collaborating with their creative teams on a number of projects. It’s an excellent competition and a great way to get your talent seen before advertising’s decision makers.

Once again, go to http://www.mvaaff.com to submit your film.
